GPXFlow is a free, 100% client-side web app that plays GPX route files on an interactive map. You can watch your hike, ride, or run animate in real time, see the elevation profile, and export an animated MP4 video for YouTube, Instagram Reels, or TikTok. No account, no upload, no tracking.

Are my GPX files uploaded to a server?

No. GPXFlow runs entirely in your browser. Your GPX files are parsed locally and never leave your device. There is no backend, no database, and no analytics on your route data.

Can I export a video of my GPX route?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GPXFlow can export an animated MP4 video of your route at up to 90 seconds. Built-in presets cover YouTube 16:9 (1920×1080), Instagram Reels 9:16 (1080×1920), and Square 1:1 (1080×1080). MP4 encoding uses the browser's native WebCodecs API and works best in Chrome or Edge.

Which browsers does GPXFlow support?

Map playback works in all modern browsers with WebGL: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. MP4 video export requires a browser with WebCodecs support - currently Chrome or Edge.

No. GPXFlow is free to use, with no signup and no paid tier. The map tiles are served by OpenFreeMap and the underlying data is © OpenStreetMap contributors.
